She participates in the birth of a calf and then instantly refers to herself as the cow's mumma and has this undying love for the calf.yet she can't stand the thought of chickens having eggs and anything else farm related? She wants to help her best friend make making enemies with every single person she crosses? She's supposed to be some independent, self assured women.an. Nothing she did was believable to me and situations she was put in seemed out of character to her behaviour. She came across as an abrasive, loud-mouthed, attention seeking twit. I also extremely disliked the lead character Candice. It was very slow and repetitive where nothing happens for pretty much the whole half of this book.
